Former San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson is set to visit with the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings are interested in finding a backup running back after Chester Taylor signed a deal with the division rival Chicago Bears.
Tomlinson is just trying to find a job anywhere after he was released by the Chargers, the only NFL team he has ever played for.
Many believe Tomlinson could have trouble just finding a job as a backup because of how quickly he has declined.
At this point in his career, Tomlinson’s goal is to land with a contending team and win a title.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress made a trip down to Mississippi to quarterback Brett Favre’s house to see how the 40-year old was doing.
Childress said that he did not travel down there to try and gauge when Favre would be ready to make a decision on the 2010 season, but said the quarterback brought it up.
Favre asked Childress when the team would need to have a decision, but the head coach refused to answer and told him that he was not in Mississippi to discuss that.
He said the two talked about the past season and also discussed Favre’s time with the Jets, discussing all that went right and wrong the past few years of his career.
Childress believes that Favre deserves some time to relax and get away from football considering the NFC championship game was less than two months ago.
